The Applied Computer Education (ACE) department at Red River College (RRC) is actively engaged in multiple ongoing research directions.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been established between the ACE department at RRC and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Chitkara University, which was recently awarded the ‘Best University in Northern India 2018’ by the Centre for Education Growth and Research. This MOU allows an MSc or PhD student from Chitkara University to be co-advised by an ACE faculty member on thesis research. Interested graduate students from Chitkara can learn more about potential cd-advisors by following the links to individual researchers in the sidebar to the left, and should contact ACE faculty members directly by email to discuss a possible thesis project.
Through funding agencies including NSERC, Mitacs and IRAP, ACE faculty members are able to supervise industry-related postdoctoral research. Recent PhD graduates who are interested can learn more about potential advisors by following the links to individual researchers in the sidebar to the left, and should contact ACE faculty members directly to pursue this research.
Beyond the graduate and post-graduate research described above, RRC has many faculty and students working in the ACE Project Space, a pre-incubator for start-ups, and on Machine Learning in a wide variety of applications.
