We want to visit your school!
The Applied Computer Education Department of Red River College would like to visit your school and inform your students about their future careers in Information Technology (IT), and discuss how our Business Information Technology (BIT) program, Business Technology Management (BTM), or Information Security (InfoSec) program can help them pursue that career.
The 2-year BIT program opens the door to a career in IT. RRC’s practical hands-on training guides students through studies in the fields of Application Development, Web Development, Database Management, Network Management and related business training. This year, the program celebrates 50 years since it began as the Computer Analyst/Programmer program!
The Business Technology Management program is 2-years and is designed to provide graduates with the knowledge and skill set required to analyze, design, and manage projects and businesses in the area of information technology. This diploma program builds upon a combined set of information technology and business courses.
An IT professional from our faculty will come to your school to deliver a presentation to all students interested in pursuing a career in technology.
The hour-long session would include information about:
- Career paths in IT
- The BIT, BTM, and IS programs and our Co-op and project placement
- Credit Transfer opportunities
- Graduate statistics and feedback
If there is some aspect of Information Technology you wish us to discuss with your students let us know.
We would greatly appreciate you passing this along to any instructor teaching a technology related course.
Is your school in a rural community?
No problem! We often travel throughout the province. If we can’t visit you in person, we can deliver the presentation by Skype.
