What’s Happening

There is hardly a dull moment in Applied Computer education, from community participation to the latest news. We strive to help the community to promote STEAM education and activities for all.

Let's get involved with technology!

Welcome to Applied Computer Education Community Outreach and thank you for your interest. We have several initiatives throughout the year that ACE participates in.

Technology Camps – We offer two different Technology Camps in May. The Girls Exploring IT Tech Camp is for Junior High girls, and the Day in the Life of an IT Student is for High School boys and girls. At both camps students will work through 4 different sessions to build a simple web-based application.

School Visits – We want to come to your school to talk to your students about our programs. Need a more specific presentation, maybe something specifically for your Database class? Let us know, we can work with you to fit with your class needs.

RRC Open House – Come see us at our booth at Notre Dame Campus, or at our Technology Fair at Roblin Centre Campus. Meet current and past students, hear about our programs, try out some coding activities.

Career Fairs – Come see us at the Brandon Career Symposium, or the Rotary Career Symposium. We will have booths at both of these events.

Affiliate Events – We are involved with other organizations events throughout the year. Check out Affiliate Events for what we have been up to. Are you part of an organization wishing to partner with the Applied Computer Education department? Please contact us.
